Now this guy is commited. To have his finger amputated in lieu of surgery. This way he doesn't have to miss any games and deal with the aches and pains of physical therapy.
Also look at Ronnie Lott, he had the tip of his finger amputated because he didn't want to miss one game. I hope he got a bonus for that.
