Today I took a half day at the office to make a doctor's appointment.
It turns out my blood pressure is too high and my blood sugar is high as well. I have to cut on my smoking and alcohol consumption.
To make matters worse the subway system lost power on the line that takes me home. I had to walk a couple of miles to get home.
What should have been a 1 hour trip back turned out to take 3 hours. My legs began to cramp up in the last 1/2 mile.
