The operating surgeon said he typically sends home patients a day after laporoscopic surgery to remove the gall bladder however his patients are typically not pregnant so her obstetrician makes the call.
Her obstetrician wants to hold her for one more day and make sure the baby and her are in good shape. So tentatively she goes home tomorrow and today she spends most of the time sleeping, receiving morphine for pain.
I go home at 6:00 p.m. to get some sleep while she sleeps.
