We have a birthday party to go to today at van cortland Park in the Bronx. When people think of the Bronx they think of dilapidated buildings and slums. Yes, there is some of that but the Bronx has changed quite a bit since the 70's.
There are beautiful sections now. The South Bronx is building up as eell. There are rough areas still, just as in any borough but you can raise a family there. We got up early since the party is starting early. With kids it's best to do things early.
