Saturday in the Park

We arrived at the park for the party a bit early. An hour and a half early actually. My wife got a different time than I did and we were both wrong.

We left before the cake was served but we were there for the most part. Our son is getting crankier and crankier every time he doesn't get what he wants. I'm not sure how to handle that as he gets older. My only answer right now is to isolate him and keep him away from what he wants.

He still doesn't understand that falling on concrete hurts and that purtting broken glass in his mouth can really hurt. Maybe my overprotectiveness is a detriment but I rather have him safe than getting stitches.

He'll have plenty of time later for injuries when he's older.
