It's sad, the level of despair and misery present in the faces you see on print. And it's even worse on TV.
It's infuriating people that the gevernment has yet to act. I heard the mayor of New Orleans on the radio this morning. I think this is the first time I have ever heard a politician speak like a normal human being; someone who would be my neighbor or co-worker.
In those few words he had, you felt his anger and you understood it. In this country where we are supposed to be the standard of modern civilization, to have this happen is unimaginable.
