Just remembered

I was listening to the radio...well the streaming of the radio transmission is more accurate.

But while I was listening Creedence Clearwater Revival came on and that reminded me that a few weeks ago the major networks had a fundraiser for the Hurricane Katrina survivors and the Foo Fighters were on that broadcast. They performed Born on the Bayou and it was a great cover.

I was blown away by their energy, they were tight and you just know they loved what they were playing.

I agree. My main thing is how Dave Grohl has really shined since his Nirvana days.

In Nirvana he seemed like he was just background playing drums. With Foo Fighters he has shown that he has the presence and ability to be a front man.
